Raising awareness of Autism in Older People Webinar

mPower are delighted to host a webinar with Lynsey Stewart on Raising awareness of Autism in Older People

Lynsey is the Team Capacity Builder and Network Co-ordinator at Autism Network Scotland (ANS).  ANS is based at the University of Strathclyde and works in collaboration through strategic partnerships and sharing knowledge to drive change and support positive well-being for autistic people across Scotland.  Lynsey leads on work in relation to autism and ageing.

This webinar will explore the ways ageing might impact on an autistic person and discuss how we can work in partnership to remove some of the barriers that older autistic people face.  We will give an overview of the results of a Scotland-wide survey, where older autistic people shared their experiences, and then open up a discussion to share knowledge and learning.
