Project planning

11 project partners, 7 delivery partners in multiple locations, across 3 jurisdictions: careful project planning and adept project management was critical from the start. The Project Management Office at the lead partner NHS NSS worked tirelessly with partners to ensure the project stayed on track and delivered despite the challenges encountered.

Project Management Office (PMO)

The mPower PMO team included a Programme Manager and two thematic Business Leads responsible for management and implementation of the core business and technical services, and to provide support to the local deployment teams.  They were supported by a Project Manager and Project Support Officer.

The Programme Manager, Project Manager and Business Leads established appropriate quality processes and standards for delivery of work plans, this ensured standards consistently met the quality required by project partners.

Over the next few months we will be adding further content here to share the key documents used in managing the project as well as key milestones and other useful information to support future projects. The lessons learned section will also be key to understanding challenges that were faced and potentially how to overcome them for future projects.
