Our CH01 Community Navigator Monica Ramsey as a member of Finn Valley Community Health Forum is supporting the provision of ‘Wellness Packs’ for service users of Alzheimer’s Groups at St Joseph Community Hospital and Cloghan Day Centre. The packs will include Fiddle Mits made by different groups in the community, puzzles, colouring sheets and markers. Also chocolate, mPower pens and leaflets and some self-care items. The local Finn Valley College students have contributed by providing letters written by them to the older people. There are 50 packs in total which will be distributed over the coming weeks. The initiative will be repeated at Christmas time too to help bring some festive cheer.
