The most recent learning event held last week in Enniskillen saw over 80 guests learn how they can get involved with mPower. During the last six months, around 400 guests have attended learning events hosted by project partners in Sligo, Letterkenny, Drogheda, Newry and now Enniskillen. All events have proved a huge success and generated great enthusiasm about the project.
The events were attended by community and voluntary organisations and a wide range of health and social care professionals. Attendees learned how they could participate in the mPower project. Guest speakers delivered presentations and case studies demonstrating how social prescribing can empower older people to live more independent lives and how Technology Enabled Care (TEC) practices are supporting older people to remain in their own homes for longer.
